provided in hard copy for review and is available on the East Mountain
website.

The
Nineteenth Hole manager, Terri Robillard,
obtained most of supplies from her
supplier at their prices.
Some discussion concerning the
breakfast resulted in the question as to why the menu items are not included on
the ticket, ie .pancakes, bacon eggs ham, sausage, fruit, juice, tea, coffee
and milk. Seconds will be provided. Workers will be present at 6:30PM on Friday
evening to prepare and set up. Everyone
is urged to sell tickets. Turner will
have flyers sent home with school children.
Bricks and tee shirts: Nancy Ptak is in charge of those sales and
has 2 medium sized tee shirts left at $15 each. Bricks are still available to purchase. Please see Nancy if interested.
Park issues: No movement in park completion or even
progression, with moneys still promised but none forthcoming. The park remains closed, but people are
using it at their own risk.
A Neighborhood Council withdrawal proposal is read by Marguerite Smith, authored by Mike Ptak. The reason for seceding at this time, for the time being, is the action of the council to influence neighborhoods by luring and hand-picking people for that body, among other issues. Several other neighborhood associations have already withdrawn. Bob McGovern asked about the function of the council and Jean Guisto, a representative to the council from East Mountain provided explanation.
Jean Guisto reported on the
“Condo” fund: see accounting sheet,
which is available for review. Jean
also provided a list of all those who contributed. Nazih Noujaim suggested
that we wait until the next meeting to decide about the need to raise more
money to fund the attorney and whatever necessary professional help is needed
to continue fighting the project. Bob
McGovern suggested taking a vote after we have income totals from brick
sales.
Work efforts: Larry ( and Ceil ) Davino single handedly watered
the flower bed on the dam all summer—THANK YOU. Jan and Bob Perigard and Nancy Ptak weeded the flower beds
several times over the summer- THANK
YOU. The fire hydrants have all been
painted- THANK YOU
Brick sales: reaching for a deadline, but for time being
are still available and will be available at the pancake breakfast.
Community Officer: Joe Padua reports many car break-ins
including a break-in on Pineridge Rd. last evening. Radar traps are being employed.
Dirt bike noise is reported again.
The Community Officer phone number is 574-6967.
Planning and Zoning meeting
is being held tonight at the Sovreign Bank concerning a zoning exception
required for a daycare center to be opened at the church ( Our Lady of
Lebanon).
A thank you note was received
from Brittany Langdon, this year’s scholarship recipient, and was read to the
attendees.
The meeting was adjourned at
8:PM.
Respectfully submitted,
Patricia Mencio,
Secretary
