Meeting Date  March 24, 2010

The Pledge was led by Mike Ptak.

Guest Speakers were Gillian Jarrell and Kevin Jannetty of Discount Power. They gave a presentation on how to save money on electric bills using Discount Power which has 9,000 customers. They charge variable rates that are established monthly and can charge less than CL&P and UI because they do not have the overhead that these companies do. CL&P sets rates yearly. There is no contract with Discount Power and you can change back to your old company at any time. The bill still comes from CL&P and they still handle all services such as power outages etc. Go to KevinJannetty.com for more information and to compare rates.
