Patrick Norton led the pledge of allegiance. 

The treasurer’s report was given by Jean Guisto .  The balance is approximately $7,000.00

The secretary’s report was given by Nancy Ptak.  Get well wishes go to Barbara Stere .

Sympathy cards were sent to the family of Kathryn Zapatka on Cottage Grove Lane, Brian Carroll for the death of his father Francis Mike Carroll from Bracewood Road.  Mike Carroll was an active member of the neighborhood association.  Also the family of Louis Rinaldi for the death of their father from  Westport  Drive

Park Update was given by Mike Ptak. The order of the parade was discussed as well as the Hospitality Tent. 

Mike Stere mentioned the street light on East Mountain road was out. Patricia Mencio commented on the bags for the dogs might need orientation for those who are not using them.

Bob Perigard suggested we set aside $1,000.00 for reward money for those people who report any vandalism at the park in correlation with crime stoppers that leads to an arrest.  Nancy seconded the motion.  Ned discussed that it should be publicized .  Nezi amended the motion to include it should be addressed yearly based on our funds.   Joe Padua said he could talk to crimestoppers to get a sign posted there also.   

Claudette LaFlamme gave a presentation for our grant winner. Joe Silva.  Joe is the son of Nancy and Joe Silva from Peach Orchard Road.  Joe Silva is a graduate of Kennedy High School Soar Program.  He is in the t op 5% of his class.  He has taken 7 Advanced Placement courses.  Joe will attend Kings College Majoring in Politics.  He participated in several community service projects including: Pennies for Patients, Unicef, Habitat for Humanity, Child Day Camp in Scotland. 

 Under New Business, there is a New Neighborhood group forming.  Discussion was raised that we should not join at this time.  Questions were asked about if it were any different from the existing Neighborhood Council.  The general impression is no. The main concensus is to wait and see before we join.  Patrick Norton said had felt the group in our own neighborhood is doing quite fine.  Bob McGovern made a motion we do not join at this time.  Larry seconded the motion.  A vote was taken motion carried.

Red polo shirts are for sale by the Perigards for $ 20.00 each.  Sizes are med, large, xlarge,1x and 2x.
