East Mountain Neighborhood Association Meeting Minutes

East Mountain Neighborhood Association

8 East Mountain Rd.

Waterbury, Ct. 06708

September 19, 2012

Number of Attendees: 69

Pledge of Allegiance was led by Dave Muccino followed by a moment of silence.

Turner Langdon sent a letter of resignation from his position as Vice-President of EMNA as he has moved out of state. Dave Muccino will take over until the end of December.

Selim Noujaim sent a letter to the DOT per request of Bob Perigard and Mike Ptak  regarding signage and caution light on Rt. 69. Dot investigated the area and found the two roadway curves could benefit from signage upgrades. Will replace current signs with larger ones  as well as installing additional signs to better alert drivers to the presence of curves. Will be installed as

soon as DOT schedule permits. DOT feels flashing sign would be less effective than new signs.
