Many hands make light work Volunteers will be gathering at 8:00 AM on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at East Mountain Park to clean our memorial circle, plant flowers around the flagpole, and mulch. Also, some weeding will be done on our flag and letters on the dam. Please volunteer a couple of hours to help keep our park clean and beautiful. E.M.N.A., in conjunction with Wendell Cross PTA, will be having a clean-up on Saturday, June 29th. Work begins at 8:00 AM and we will be focusing on the Hamilton Ave. side between the stairs and the driveway. For more details, please contact E.M.N.A. President, Bob Perigard 203-753-2575. An organizational meeting will be scheduled in mid-July with Community Relations Officer Matt Lemos and the WPD to establish a neighborhood watch program in East Mountain. Anyone interested should contact EMNA President, Bob Perigard 203-753-2575. Volunteers are needed to prepare and assemble our annual newsletter. Work will begin in July for a mid-August mailing. If interested in helping out, please contact Bob Perigard 203-753-2575.
