To benefit our neighborhood association Selim Noujaim will be sponsoring a “shred day” on Saturday, July 19, 2014 between 9 AM and 12 PM.  Bring your old and unwanted documents and papers to have them quickly and professionally shredded into unreadable scraps by Shred-it.

Shred-it is donating a truck and operator for this wonderful event which will be held in the WARC parking lot located at 1929 East Main St. in Waterbury.  Donations are $5.00 for a small bag and $10.00 for a large bag or box.  Tax deductible contributions are also accepted.  Proceeds will benefit the ARC of Waterbury, CT, the East End Community Club, and the East Mountain Neighborhood Association.
Shred-it's proprietary cross-cut shredding technology turns your sensitive paperwork into confetti-sized pieces ranging from less than an inch to as small as an eighth of an inch giving you peace of mind knowing your confidential documents can't be reproduced or recreated.
There will also be a special guest appearance by Teresa Dufour, Traffic Anchor & Host of CT Style, WTNH News 8.

High school grant recipient 2014 Rafael Hamawi.

Bob Perigard's son in law took some aerial photos of East Mountain Reservoir that include the flag and letters that our association worked so hard to put together. See below, all the way at the bottom of the page for one of the photo's.  Also at the top of the page, you can click on the thumbprint photo to see full size.

Anyone interested in joining the Neighborhood Watch Program can contact Dave Muccino at 203-757-5277.  We are fortunate to have a very safe and somewhat crime-free neighborhood and this program can only improve our quality of life in East Mountain.
